Fayetteville was the first county school to hold its graduation ceremony as their seniors got diplomas Friday in the school’s gym. The featured speaker was Retired U.S. Army Captain Chad Fleming Fleming is a highly decorated war hero who deployed five times after becoming an amputee. He is one of the few who have been able to redeploy into combat as an amputee.
After serving with distinction, and receiving numerous awards and decorations, including the Meritorious Service Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with Valor, and three Purple Hearts, he retired from active duty and still serves our country in other capacities.
Now, Chad Fleming has made it his mission to help fellow veterans and service members to find their own “Success After Service.”
