Flatonia Man Arrested For Controlled Substance

On Wednesday, June 14, at approximately 2:48 a.m. Sgt. Ryan Meagher was at the Amigo’s Country Store in Flatonia, when he observed a male subject who was slumped over at the wheel of his parked vehicle.

Contact was made with the male subject. Meagher believed the subject to be under the influence of an unknown narcotic. After further investigation, Meagher located two bags containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine inside a pocket on the male’s shirt.

The male identified as Larry Reddish, 62 years of age from Flatonia, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled substance.
