Five Locals Arrested in Meth Bust Jan. 11
Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Thursday, January 11, the Fayette County Undercover Narcotics Unit concluded a month long investigation into narcotics dealing, by executing two search warrants on residences, within the city limits of La Grange.
Through the course of the investigations, the Undercover Narcotics Unit seized over 200 grams of methamphetamine, as well as a handgun, and made five arrests on local individuals.
Those arrested include: John Barakat, 40 of La Grange, on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon; Lenise Salazar, 42 of La Grange, on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance; Fred Lotz, 67 of La Grange, on a charge of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance; Andrew Rivera Jr., 39 of Plum, on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance; and Sheri Miller, 48 of Muldoon, on warrants for Manufacture/ Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Bail Jumping.
