First of Three Primary Debates This Coming Sunday in Schulenburg
The Fayette County Republican Party will host its first of three Republican candidate forums on Sunday, Jan. 28.
The forum will take place from 1-4 p.m. at the KC Hall in Schulenburg, located at 405 South St. The following candidates have been invited to participate: U.S. Congressional District 10: Michael McCaul (incumbent) and Jared Lovelace
Fayette County Attorney: Mark Elvig and James Herbrich
County Constable Pct. 3: Robert Chambers (incumbent) and Darrell Maze County Constable Pct. 4: Jason Strickland (incumbent) and Tammy “TJ Mac” Mc-Cleney Republican Party Chairman: Deborah Frank (incumbent) and Michael Schlabach.
The next forum will take place Sunday, Feb. 4 at the Chamber of Commerce Hall in Ellinger, located at 104 W. Colorado Sky St., from 1-4 p.m. The following candidates have been invited: U.S. Congressional District 10: Michael McCaul (incumbent) and Jared Lovelace

County Constable Pct. 2: Roger Wunderlich (incumbent) and Kenneth King Republican Party Chairman: Deborah Frank (incumbent) and Michael Schlabach.
The final forum will take place Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Texas AgriLife Extension Building in La Grange, located at 255 Svoboda Ln., from 1-5 p.m. The following candidates have been invited to participate: U.S. Congressional District 10: Michael McCaul (incumbent) and Jared Lovelace
Texas House District 85: Stan Kitzman (incumbent) and Tim Greeson Fayette County Attorney: Mark Elvig and James Herbrich
Republican Party Chairman: Deborah Frank (incumbent) and Michael Schlabach.
In addition, the Republican party invites all un-contested candidates to these events to visit with their constituents.
