Female Arrested For Mail Fraud And Drug Activity
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Nov. 16, the Fayette County Undercover Narcotics Unit Investigators executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Matula Ave. in Schulenburg. The search warrant was in connection with several past investigations regarding mail fraud and drug activity.
The search warrant rendered several pounds of stolen mail, including numerous check books, over 30 credit/debit cards, materials to print checks, birth certificates and social security cards, methamphetamine and marijuana.
Arrested was 26 year old Latrezia Johnson, of Schulenburg. She was charged with Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information (2nd Degree Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (State Jail Felony), and Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor).
The Fayette County Criminal Investigations Division is diligently working continuously on the current mail fraud issues. We are contacting individual victims whose information we have located in connection to this case.
