Feb. 15 Meeting Set to Discuss La Grange Relay for Life Planning

We all have connections to people whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Relay for Life of La Grange has been hosting a local event in La Grange for many years, to support the American Cancer Society. A small committee and handful of teams have been trying to keep this event ongoing for our family, friends, and community. Unfortunately, due to lack of participation and community involvement, this may come to an end.

In case the weather affected you attending our last meeting, the upcoming meeting is the absolute last chance gathering for decisions. Please join us on Thursday, February 15, La Grange City Hall chambers at 5:30 p.m. to make a difference and learn more about relay. A tentative date of April 20 is scheduled for this year’s event, subject to community and team involvement. We need you to become involved, create a team, as big or small as you like.
