FCF Announces New Staff Members
The Fayette Community Foundation (FCF) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new staff members, Ashleigh Parks and Guy Hardin.
Parks worked as Development Associate with FCF since May of 2022, but is now transitioning to the role of Community Impact Program Director. Parks graduated from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Journalism.
Parks found her love for the nonprofit sector after attending multiple Rural Nonprofit Networking Group meetings. Parks is passionate about connecting with the community to help educate its members about the missions and programs of our local nonprofits.
Parks is currently working towards a certification in Nonprofit Leadership. When not at work you can most likely find Parks getting a medium iced hazelnut latte at Latte on the Square.
Hardin joined the FCF staff in January of 2023 as the Foundation’s newest role of Communications Manager. Hardin will take over Parks’ communication responsibilities as she shifts to her new role.
A La Grange native, Hardin is a recent graduate from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration.
After graduating, Hardin returned home while searching for his next opportunity and fell back in love with the local community. Hardin has always been very passionate about nonprofit work and is very excited to be working with the Fayette Community Foundation. He is excited to help the Foundation continue to “Help Others, Help Others”.
