Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) Executive Director Heather Barthelme presented the program for the monthly luncheon of the Episcopal Women of the Church from St James Episcopal Church. Dianna Berg organized the event and coordinated the 14 women to hear about the mission, history, programming and importance of the arts in Fayette County, specifically the performing arts provided by FCCT. “It meant so much to us to be able to share our passion for this theatre with these wonderful ladies,” said Barthelme. “Every one of them was so kind and complementary, and we feel so supported and loved by them.” The group was also treated to a sneak peek performance of a scene from the upcoming production The Great Gatsby. Performers were Guy Hardin, advisory board member Brandon Theut and board member Melissa Weltner. Other board members in attendance included Ellen Hardin and founder Susannah Mikulin. Technical support was provided by advisory board member Bryce Moerbe.
