Community Garden

Fayetteville Park Community Garden volunteers Martin Payne and Karen Bookout wish to thank Billy Wasut and David Malota for their continuing assistance. “Most recently, David did an expert job of moving some extra soil and mulch out of the parking space and drainage area and cleaning up around the gardens,” stated Payne.

The team cleaned up last year’s garden debris and came up with a plan to move the picnic table and benches to another location. Some of the beds are ready for vegetables and flowers (perennials that take full sun exposure) when appropriate. Plant those potatoes before Valentine’s day. Contact Bookout for more information at (281) 361-4555.
