Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Reports March Activity, Multiple Arrests and Investigations
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff Deputies for the month of March.
Sergeant Ron Naumann and Sergeant Ben Wilson responded to a disturbance in Warrenton during the antique fair. Citations were issued for disorderly conduct, fighting.
Deputy Josh Jones conducted a traffic stop in the La Grange area. The operator of the vehicle had an invalid driver’s license and had previous convictions for the same offense. The operator was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
Deputy Terry Guentert was contacted in reference to an assault in the Swiss Alp area. A warrant was obtained for the male suspect and the female victim was placed in a safe temporary housing location. Deputy Guentert also responded to the Flatonia area in reference to a suicidal subject. The male subject was deceased. Deputy Cody Williams conducted a traffic stop in the Warrenton area. The operator of the vehicle had a valid warrant for his arrest out of Colorado County. The operator was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
Deputy James Ulbig assisted another deputy with a warrant arrest during a burglary call.
Sergeant Duane Meagher assisted with a missing persons case. The subject was located in Austin, Texas. Sergeant Meagher also assisted a deputy on a public intoxication arrest near La Grange.
Deputy Joe Gonzales responded to Bluebonnet Trails in La Grange in reference to a mental health subject. Deputy Gonzales transported the subject to a facility in Austin for treatment.
Deputy Jason Fowler was dispatched to a call in reference to missing livestock. A report was completed and the livestock was located. Deputy Fowler also responded to a disturbance in Ellinger. A male subject was arrested for assault family violence.
Deputy Noah Geer responded to a structure fire in the Fayetteville area. A report was completed. Deputy Geer also assisted with the recovery of a stolen vehicle out of Colorado County.
Deputy Wesly Arrison executed an arrest warrant on a male subject for capital murder in reference to a homicide. Deputy Arrison also responded to North Kirtley Road for a theft, an investigation is ongoing.
Deputy Ty Roggenkamp was dispatched to Warda in reference to juveniles trespassing on a property. The juveniles were located, they had not committed a criminal offense, but one was entered as a missing person. Both juveniles were released to family. Deputy Roggenkamp was dispatched to a theft in progress. It was learned that the caller knew the vehicle was not being stolen and the other party had legal right to the vehicle. The caller was arrested for false alarm or report.
Jail Administrator Brad Neville reports that Fayette County Correction Officers booked in 66 individuals for the month of March. Neville reports that the Jail Staff transported 4 individuals to Texas Department of Criminal Justice Facilities throughout the State to begin serving their sentences for crimes committed in Fayette County.
