Fayette County Grad Jury Meets and Hands Down 24 Felony Indictments
A Fayette County Grand Jury handed down 24 felony indictments on June 23.
An indictment does not mean the person is guilty of any crime. Instead, a grand jury indicts a person when they believe enough evidence exists to formally accuse them of a crime. The individuals listed below are innocent unless they are later proven guilty in a court. Tramayne Lee Owens, 36 of Elgin, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams, allegedly committed on April 28. The controlled substance in question was methamphetamine, according to the indictment. Emma Lorraine Long, 27 of Pasadena, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on April 18, 2021. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment. Deidre Arlene Neal, 37 of Canyon Lake, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Oct. 1, 2019. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment.
Joshua Pata Slaughter, 42 of Canyon Lake, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Oct. 1, 2019. The controlled substance in question was methamphetamine, according to the indictment.
Robert Calvin Jones III, 33 of San Antonio, was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, allegedly committed on March 24. Drevaughn Holmes, 18 of Columbus, was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, allegedly committed on Jan. 22. Aldair Rubio, 19 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to one gram and less than four grams, allegedly committed on May 20, 2021. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment.
Elijah Lawrence Ruckman, 26 of Austin, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to one gram and less than four grams, allegedly committed on Oct. 23, 2020.The controlled substance in question was methamphetamine, according to the indictment.
Christair Monique Dixon, 40 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams, allegedly committed on Dec. 11, 2021. The controlled substance in question was hydromorphone, according to the indictment.
Jonathan Matthew Welch, 31 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams, allegedly committed on Dec. 11, 2021. The controlled substance in question was hydromorphone, according to the indictment.
Joel Angel Morin, 33 of Richmond, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on May 3, 2021. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment.
Nigel Othello Jones, 28 of Leesville, LA, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on Dec. 1, 2021. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment.
Tavier Isiah Evans, 17 of Flatonia, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, allegedly committed on Jan. 17. Ana Christina Solis, 33 of La Grange, was indicted for cruelty to non-livestock animals: torture, allegedly committed on June 11. Christian Ramon Granados Tovar, 23 of Schulenburg, was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly committed on June 3. Tovar was also indicted for assault on a public servant, allegedly committed on April 16, and possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram, also allegedly committed April 16. Haley Nacole Chambers, 20 of San Marcos, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, less than one gram, also allegedly committed Sept. 27, 2020. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment.
Keaton Alexander Dishman, 22 of Pearland, was indicted for possession of a prohibited substance inside a correctional facility, allegedly committed on April 16. The substance in question was marijuana, according to the indictment. Nathan Alexander Tullar, 19 of League City, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on Dec. 9, 2020. The controlled substance in question was tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), according to the indictment. Priscilla Gloria Banks, 36 of Taraboro, NC, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on May 19, 2020.
Noah Bernard Shelby, 22 of San Marcos, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on April 29, 2021. Ronny Carl Knipe, 65 of Round Top, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on March 20. The controlled substance in question was cocaine, according to the indictment. David Mendoza, 23 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, less than one gram, allegedly committed on March 10, 2021.
