The Fourth of July fell on a Monday this year, which provided most folks with a nice, long weekend. There were plenty of events going on around the County, including the Stars, Stripes and Polka Dance at the Schulenburg KC Hall (sponsored by the Texas Polka News), a big concert by Two Tons of Steel and Moravia Store, and the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church Picnic in Dubina. Look for more photos from the Round Top July 4th Parade and the St. John Picnic in Friday’s paper. Photos by Andy Behlen
