Fayette County 4-H Members Compete at State Fair of Texas Food Challenge

Several Fayette County 4-H members competed in the State Fair of Texas Food Challenge Contest on Monday, Oct. 2, in Dallas.

The Fayette County 4-H Senior Team consisting of Tori Newton, Elena Supak, and Eleanor Carey placed 1st in Senior Side Dish Category and advanced to the Final Round. They were the Reserve Champion Senior Team in the Final Round.

The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team consisting of Kandon Kaspar, Mackayla Griffin, Hailey Janish and Scotti Beseda placed 1st in the Junior Healthy Dessert Category and advanced to the Final Round.

The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team consisting of Sawyer Mau, Allyson Kibby, and Tatum Fritsch placed 1st in the Junior Appetizer Category and advanced to the Final Round.

The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team consisting of MaeBess Huette, Charli Hadaway, and Taylyn Newton placed 2nd in the Junior Main Dish Category.
