Embarking on their eighth season, the Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) has announced the most ambitious season to date. They are looking forward to bringing the hugely popular and hilarious play Clue on Stage, (May 3-5), and the first western, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (Nov. 8-10) to the Sanford Schmidt Amphitheater. The annual student production will be the timeless classic The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe (July 26-28) in the LGISD Performing Arts Center.

“We are excited every season for what lies ahead, but I think this one is going to be special,” said FCCT Executive Director Heather Barthelme. “In addition to our regular Spring/Summer/Fall productions, we’re also launching FayCo PlayCo (more on that soon!) with performances of God of Carnage February 17, and Four Old Broads in October, partnering with ARTS for Rural Texas to hold an additional weeklong summer workshop, this one for elementary school students, and also looking at some Reader’s Theater with ARTS.”
