Fayette 4-H Competes in Washington County Livestock Judging Contest
Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Washington County Livestock Judging Contest on Saturday, Sept. 17 in Brenham. The Fayette County Maroon 4-H Junior team placed 1st overall. Team members consisted of Kaisley Janecka, Alexis Berckenhoff, Crockett Guenther, and Abraham McBride. Kaisley was high point individual, Alexis was 3rd, Crockett was 4th, and Abraham was 5th.
The Fayette County Green 4-H Junior Team placed 13th overall. Team members consisted of Rilan Karisch, Meredith Carruthers, and Hayleigh Pizzitola.
Judging as an individual was Tate Fritsch and Abbigale Eichler. The Fayette County Gold 4-H Intermediate Team placed 3rd overall. Team members consisted of Paige Carruthers, Laramie Laake, Rheagan Karisch, and Sawyer Mau. Paige was 7th high. The Fayette County Green 4-H Intermediate Team placed 15th overall. Team members consisted of Addison Berckenhoff, Julia Melton, and Addison Eichler. Judging as an individual was Tatum Fritsch. The Fayette County 4-H Senior Team placed 3rd overall. Team members consisted of Harper Mua, Peyton Gilchrest, Cooper Mau, and Kaelan Freytag. The Livestock Judging Team is coached by JoJo and Kaci Carrales.
