Faith Lutheran High School Men’s Chorus Shines

Five young men from Faith Lutheran High School of Central Texas in Warda competed at the TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) Music Competition at Concordia University in Austin on Friday, February 20. These five gentlemen performed the song, “Send Me Down Your Silver Trumpet” arranged for Tenor and Bass. The group was judged by Baylor University vocal instructor, Mrs. Julianne Best. Mrs. Best ranked the group’s performance as a “2 Excellent” on a scale from 1 to 5, 1 being the highest ranking. The Men’s Chorus will perform this same piece, along with other whole choir pieces and the handbell choir, at the school’s SPRING THING! concert on Wednesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.
