Ellinger Firemen’s Feast Set for April 26

The annual Firemen’s Feast will be on Sunday, April 26 at the chamber hall. BBQ chicken and sausage lunch plates are $15, dine in or to go starting at 10:30 a.m. BBQ chicken will be sold at the pits for $12 a chicken. The auction will start at 1 p.m. and raffle tickets can be currently purchased from any fire personnel.

Shared Lutheran Ministry The SLM Council and all church councils will meet on Tuesday, April 21 at St. Paul in Fayetteville. SLM Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. with all councils meeting at 6:30 p.m.

St. Paul in Fayetteville will have a drive through BBQ chicken dinner and bake sale on April 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. Dinner plates are $15. Also, raffle tickets are being sold, $20 a ticket or 6 for $100. To reserve tickets call (979) 9663915 or (979) 733-4513.

St. John in Ellinger will have the annual hotdog lunch and bake sale on Saturday, May 9 at the church. Save this date to get lunch and some goodies for your Mother’s Day celebration.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Hermann Sons Life 

Ellinger Hermann Sons Life will meet Monday, April 20 at 6 p.m. at the Ellinger Fire Station.
