Dinner and Dance to Benefit Lutherhill Ministires

On July 29, Shared Lutheran Ministry and St. Paul in La Grange will host an event to benefit Lutherhill: Dancing Under the Stars. This will be held at the Hermann Sons Hall in Rutersville starting at 5 p.m. with a fried chicken and sausage meal, free will donation.

There will be a live and silent auction along with music by the Back Porch Boys starting at 7 p.m BYOB and lawn chairs.

Dine in is preferred.

Shared Lutheran Ministry

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at Noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the sec-ond, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Hermann Sons Picnic

Members and non-members are invited to a picnic at the Hilltop Camp in Comfort on Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. Come enjoy a barbecue lunch, activities, and fellowship. The pool will be open and there will be no charge for attending. Sales agents will be available to answer questions or provide information. Hermann Sons Dance Classes Dance registration is under way for the next school year. There are 19 schools across Texas and is open to any member in good standing from age 3-17 years old.
