Deputy Arrest Subject for Felony Possession

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Monday, Sept. 12 around 10:50 p.m. Deputy Duane Meagher conducted a traffic stop on a 1998 Volkswagen Beetle passenger car for a traffic violation on I-10 eastbound at the 674 mile marker near Schulenburg.

Meagher made contact with the driver and observed drug paraphernalia in the drivers lap. Meagher conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle assisted by Schulenburg Police Officer Hailee Vincent and located Methamphetamines, Mushrooms, THC pens, 27 jars of THC wax, THC hash, Marijuana, Alprazolam and Diazepam pills. Arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center was 41-year-old Thomas Joshua Isbell of Deer Park who was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Marijuana.
