Czhilispiel Set-Up

The carnival Ferris wheel arrived in Flatonia this week for the 50th annual Flatonia Czhilispiel, set to take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28-30. Festivities include musical entertainment by Matt Castillo, Texas Unlimited Band, The Emotions, Triston Marez and Mike Ryan. The headliner Saturday night is country music artist Easton Corbin. Other attractions include a jalapeño eating contest, egg toss, “CZ Got Talent” contest, “czhili” and barbecue cookoffs, arts, crafts and food vendors, kids tricycle races and Halloween costume contest, Little Wranglers Hay Hauling, Backseat Momma Driver, horseshoe, washers, corn hole, a big parade Sunday morning and so much more.
