Crash Victim Identified

Texas Department of Public Safety released a preliminary report on the fatal 18-wheeler crash on Interstate 10 last Friday.

The report identified the deceased as 52-year-old Nathan Gentry of Houston. Gentry was driving an 18-wheeler west on Interstate 10. The report said another 18-wheeler was parked on the right side of the westbound improved shoulder off the main lanes of travel.

Gentry’s 18-wheeler failed to drive in a single lane, the report said, and drove off the right side of the roadway and collided with the parked 18-wheeler. Gentry died in the crash.
