Crash Claims Life of La Grange Teen

A young man from La Grange died in an automobile crash Thursday night, Nov. 30.

The wreck claimed the life of Jonathan Vasquez-Granillo of La Grange, who just graduated from La Grange High School in May. He was an all-district soccer player on the 2023 Leopard varsity.

Among the flowers and balloons set up at a memorial at the crash site this week was a soccer ball signed by loved ones.

The crash happened on FM 2145 a short distance north of Citzler Rd. Another person in the vehicle was reportedly injured.

Texas Department of Transportation investigated the crash, but details were not available at press time.
