County Fire Chiefs Gather for Meeting

The Fire Chiefs of the 10 different departments in Fayette County met in La Grange on Tuesday, May 16th. The meeting was organized by Fayette County Judge Dan Mueller, Precinct 4 Commissioner Drew Brossmann and Fayette County Emergency Management Coordinator Angela Hahn. Brossmann is also a member of the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department.

Judge Mueller said “This was an opportunity for the Fire Chiefs to gather and share thoughts and ideas. Here in Fayette County, we have a great group of volunteers who sacrifice their time for the good of all of us”.

Mueller said he intends to schedule a similar meeting in October of this year to ensure that the Departments stay connected.

The 10 Departments in the County include: La Grange, Schulenburg, Flatonia, Fayetteville, Carmine, Ledbetter, Round-Top Warrenton, Muldoon, Ellinger and Winchester.
