Correction

A headline in Tuesday’s newspaper incorrectly indicated that the tire pick-up event that the county is planning for November would be free. As detailed in the story, there will be fees associated with the pick-up. The County will charge fees of

$2 for car and light truck tires,

$10 for 18-wheeler tires, and

$20 for heavy equipment tires. The fees will help cover the cost of disposal.
