Copperhead Invasion in Warda

Copperhead Invasion in Warda

Frank Boettcher dispatched nine copperheads at the Zoch Farm in Warda, Texas on Thursday, July 6th. He said, the copperheads were crawling all around the yard by an old live oak tree close to Freddy Zoch’s house. Frank used a nearby garden hoe to dispatch the first two, but then the others started coming towards him, he had to act fast and dispatched them with “snake shot” from his trusty 45 pistol. He said, “I’ve never seen anything like it! And several came at me; they were aggressive!” He hung them on the fence, as the old timers would say it would bring rain for the farm in three days.
