Axios News is reporting that famed Chicago antique store Architectural Artifacts is closing April 15 after 37 years in the city and moving to Round Top.

Owner Stuart Grannen said he has sold more than 100,000 items over the years from his Chicago showroom.

Grannen calls himself a “treasurologist” who travels the world looking for rare pieces.

An article from Block Club Chicago says that Grannen has purchased an old saloon and dance hall in the Round Top area with plans to turn it “into an antiques gallery with live music, food and beverages. He has also secured 15,000 square feet of showroom space at Paul Michael’s Market Hill in Round Top.”
