City of La Grange Fall Clean Up Week Slated Oct. 16-20

The City of La Grange has designated Oct. 16–20, as Fall Cleanup Week.

The City will pick up one free load of brush during this week. One load of brush is defined as not more than one pickup truck load. If you have logs, please separate them from the branches. Also, please make sure there is no trash mixed in with the brush.

The following schedule will be observed: Oct. 16-17, South Side of the City (Travis St. - Hwy. 71 Bus.)

Oct. 18-19, North Side of the City Waste Management will be doing the Curbside Bulk Pickup on Oct. 21.

The City will also have roll off containers available to our residential utility customers for hard to dispose of items. These containers will be located at the City Service Center inside the yard and customers will have to show their utility bill receipt to be able to discard their items. These containers will be available.

Monday through Friday, Oct. 16-19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

No tires, batteries, construction debris, paint or chemicals will be accepted. Only one set of mattresses per utility bill will be accepted. Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units must be tagged certifying that the refrigerant has been removed by a certified technician.
