Christmas Dinner Held at Cistern KJZT

St. Elizabeth Society No. 20 in Cistern enjoyed a Thanksgiving-Christmas Dinner in conjunction with the annual meeting on Sunday, Nov. 12 at noon. The society provided turkey, dressing and ham prepared by Grace, Eugene and Winifred Vinklarek. Others brought sides and desserts. Twenty-two members were present. A Eucharistic celebration for living and deceased members officiated by Rev. Eddie Winkler was held at 8 a.m. that day. The business meeting reflected on the previous nursing home visit and 2024 officers were elected. The meeting ended with a drawing for door prizes consisting of small but useful household items and snack goodies.
