Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Proclaimed

Fayette County Commissioners signed a proclamation last Thursday designating the month of September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in Fayette County. On hand for the signing were Marlana Wessels and Jackie Wessles of the non profit group Presley’s Power. Presley’s Power supports children with cancer and their families. Commissioners also authorized Presley’s Power to hang a ribbon on the oak tree in front of the courthouse to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
