Chicken Noodle Soup Lunch Sunday in Ellinger

The chicken noodle soup and bake sale will be held on Sunday, Jan. 29 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Donated baked items are appreciated.

The drive thru line will go under the BBQ pavilion and be sure to bring a pot or glass container, no plastic please. Prices are $10 quart and $35 for a gallon and homemade chicken salad sandwiches will also be available.

Polka music entertainment will be provided by Zach Novak. Reserve large orders by calling or texting (979) 9668612.

Fayetteville Brethren

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services on the second, third and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is life streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Ellinger Sewer and Water ESW will hold the annual meeting at the chamber hall at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16.

Hermann Sons

Summer camp enrollment will start in March. This summer camp in Comfort, Texas is open to junior members. The camp is needing RNs, LPNs, EMTs, and CNAs. If you or someone you know is interested, please call Ian Brassett at (909) 362-9058. Medical staff is a paid position and includes paid camp tuition for their children.
