Celebrate Holy Week, Easter Services at Area Lutheran Churches

You are invited to join for Holy Week observances and the Easter celebration at area Lutheran Church of the Tri-County Cooperative Ministries serving Lavaca, Fayette and Colorado Counties.

Journey with us as we make our way from the triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, to the Last Supper Jesus had with his disciples, to the sadness and suffering of Jesus nailed to the cross, and then the surprise on Easter morning. Holy Week Services

April 2-Holy Week Communion Service at St. Peter Lutheran Church, West Point with meal at 6 p.m. followed by Communion Service at 7 p.m.

April 2-Maundy Thursday Holy Communion Services at Zion Lutheran Church, Moulton with meal at 6 p.m. followed by Communion Service at 6:45 p.m.

April 2-Maundy Thursday Holy Communion Services at 7 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sublime and 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Weimar.

April 3-Good Friday Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Moulton at 2 p.m.

Easter Sunday

St. Peter Lutheran Church of Prairie Valley-Prairie Valley Road, West Point; Communion Services 8:45 a.m. Brunch to follow services along with Easter Egg Hunt.

Evangelical Lutheran Church - Witting Communion Service 8 a.m. Brunch to follow service along with Easter Egg Hunt. Bring lawn chairs for outdoor services if weather permits, otherwise services held inside.

Faith Lutheran Church, Weimar-Easter Breakfast at 9 a.m. Communion Service 10 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt 11 a.m.

Zion Lutheran Church, Sublime-Communion Service 8 a.m. Brunch to follow service along with Easter Egg Hunt.

Zion Lutheran Church, Moulton-Easter Breakfast and Sunday School, Adult Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. Communion Services 10:45 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt to follow services.
