Burn Ban Expires

County Leaders to Examine Issue at Friday Meeting

The Fayette County Commissioners Court called a special meeting for this Friday, March 13, to possibly take action on the burn ban.

The Commissioners Court implemented a 90-day ban on outdoor burning last summer and extended it for another 90 days on Dec. 8 of last year. It officially expired on Sunday, March 8.

Their meeting this Friday took place after this edition went to press.
