Burglary Suspect Arrested in the Act
La Grange Police arrested a local man for burglary of a motor vehicle on Saturday, Dec. 21.
According to a report from La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath, Office Justin Koehne discovered the burglary while conducting a routine patrol in the 600 block of Upperline St. around 11:45 p.m.
Gilbreath said Koehne noticed a silver Chevrolet pickup parked on Upperline St. with the passenger door open. Koehne approached the vehicle and saw a male subject walking away from the passenger door. Koehne identified the subject as 26-year-old Jekorion Darnell Wilson of La Grange.
Koehne contacted the vehicle’s owner, and the owner informed Koehne he did not know anyone named Jekorion Wilson. The owner inspected the vehicle and discovered the glove compartment and console had been opened and rummaged through.
Koehne arrested Wilson for burglary of a vehicle and transported him to jail.
