Blinn’s Fall Enrollment Highest Since 2019
The Blinn College District Board of Trustees received an enrollment report during its regular meeting Monday showing that the College enrolled 18,301 students for the fall 2023 semester, a 4.26% increase over the previous year and the highest total since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The enrollment total included 6,103 students at the Bryan Campus, 3,945 online students, 3,802 RELLIS students, 2,145 high school dual-credit students, 2,109 Brenham Campus students, 59 Schulenburg Campus students, and 41 Sealy Campus students. RELLIS saw a 24.82% enrollment increase while dual-credit enrollment increased 17.21%. The College also saw increases in online and Brenham Campus enrollment.
Registration is open now for Blinn’s winter minimester and spring semester. Students can apply at ApplyTexas.org. Once admitted, they can register for classes through their myBLINN portal at https:// my.blinn.edu. Blinn recommends that all students speak to an academic advisor prior to registering for classes.
In other business at Monday’s meeting, the board accepted Blinn’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for Fiscal Year 2023, which received an unmodified opinion, or “clean” audit, from Lott, Vernon, and Company.
