BB Gun Found at School in Flatonia

On Jan. 29, Flatonia ISD administration received a report alleging that a student possessed a weapon. Superintendent Chris Sodek immediately contacted law enforcement and initiated an investigation. Authorities rapidly determined that the student had a BB gun and ensured the physical safety of all students and staff. District administration invoked the most sever action available under Texas Law to address the matter. The Board of trustees and Mr. Sodek thank all staff and local authorities who acted quickly to resolve the situation.
