Autism Acceptance Month Proclaimed

The Fayette County Commissioners Court signed a proclamation at their meeting on Thursday, March 12 designating April as Autism Acceptance Month. Turtle Wing Executive Director Destiny Siptak (third from left) was on hand to accept the proclamation. Siptak said that this year marks the 15th year of Turtle Wing Foundation providing services in this area. There have been over 100,000 sessions provided since 2011, with 40 percent of those services provided directly to families in Fayette County.
