The Art of Improv Quilting
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild members recently attended the “Improv” workshop with Michelle Lavender. Michelle is from HollyDee Quilts in Luling, she demonstrated the many ways to transform scraps into quilts, using a “wonky” cut and a really open mind. Her unique way of cutting and piecing was amazing.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, La Grange. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months. Meetings are always open to the public, so grab a friend and come learn more about this wonderful service organization in La Grange.
