Arrests, Rescues, and Public Safety Responses Highlight Sheriff’s December Report
Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff Deputies for the month of December 2025.
Deputy Wesly Arrison took a report for missing property after a homeowner came home and his packages were missing. Deputy Arrison also responded to two subjects trespassing on someone’s property, they were issued criminal trespass warnings.
Deputy Noah Geer responded to a disturbance near Waelder. A female was arrested for assault family violence. Deputy Geer also responded to an assault near Warda. A male was arrested for aggravated assault.
Deputy Jason Fowler responded to Park Prairie in reference to a boat stranded out on the water. With assistance from other boaters, Deputy Fowler was able to tow the stranded boat to the dock. Deputy Fowler also assisted with serving multiple warrants at an address in La Grange.
Deputy Joe Gonzales responded to an intersection in Fayetteville where a two-year old was wandering alone. The parents were located and the proper report was filed with Child Protective Services. Deputy Gonzales also responded to a disturbance near Plum. A male subject was arrested for public intoxication.
Sergeant Duane Meagher responded to a disturbance near Waelder to assist Deputy Geer. A female subject was taken into custody for assault family violence. Sergeant Meagher also responded to a disturbance near Warda to assist Deputy Geer. A male was arrested for aggravated assault.
Deputy James Ulbig responded to the Ledbetter area in reference to a female making threats to kill someone and burn down a business. The female was located and a pursuit ensued. The female was taken into custody in Lee County. Deputy Roggenkamp assisted.
Deputy Chris Stansberry responded to a disturbance off of FM 154 near Flatonia. An arrest was made. Deputy Stansberry also responded to assist with a disturbance on East Wiedemann Road. A report was taken.
Deputy Herman Olvera responded to a disturbance on FM 957 near Schulenburg. A male subject was arrested for assault family violence.
Deputy Terry Guentert took a report in reference to possible identity theft.
Deputy Joshua Jones assisted with executing multiple warrants at an address in La Grange. Deputy Jones also responded to a runaway near Fayetteville. The juvenile was returned to family.
Sergeant Ron Naumann took a report for an animal complaint near Plum.
Jail Administrator Brad Neville reports that Fayette County Correction Officers booked in 44 individuals for the month of December. Neville reports that the Jail Staff transported six individual(s) to Texas Department of Criminal Justice Facilities throughout the State to begin serving their sentences for crimes committed in Fayette County.
