Annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday in Carmine
The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Carmine City Park on Saturday, April 4 beginning at 10 a.m. when the Easter Bunny arrives. Come earlier, in case the bunny gets there sooner.
Children ages 4 to 10 are invited to hunt eggs. All others are welcome to attend.
RT-C School News
Round Top-Carmine High School baseball team travels to Iola on March 31 for a double- header with the first game at 4:30 p.m. The team hosts BVCHEA on April 7 at 5:30 p.m. This evening will support the Turtle Wing foundation. On April 10, the team travels to Little River Academy High School to play Blum at 6:30 p.m. RT-C hosts Snook at 5 p.m. for a double-header on April 15.
Jr. High athletes will participate in a track meet at Fayetteville on March 30. High school participates in the track meet on April 2, also at Fayetteville. The district track meet will be held at Fayetteville on April 9.
FFA meets on April 1 at 6:30 p.m.
April 3 and 6 will be holidays for Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Tennis players will compete in the district meet in La Grange on April 6.
The regional golf tournament will be on April 13.
April 10 is an early-release day. Classes will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
Tropical Paradise was the theme of the 2026 Prom held recently when Prom Royalty was announced. Carter Marburger was crowned Mr. RTC; while Kaegen Wagner was chosen as Ms. RT-C.
MLLC News
Senior Citizens meet on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Mission & Ministry Building. Meals must be picked up by 11:30 a.m.
Maundy Thursday worship with Holy Communion is at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Ken Weiss will be the guest pastor.
Good Friday service is at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top at 7 p.m. with the Rev. John David Nedbalek leading the service.
AA meeting is Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
The Resurrection of Our Lord worship service with Holy Communion is Sunday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Bonnie Parker serving as the guest pastor. An Easter egg hunt follows worship.
Domino party is Monday at 1 p.m.
Bingo in Ledbetter
The Bingo party at the Ledbetter Community Center will be held on Sunday, April 12 from 2-4 p.m. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.
A card for $5 covers all games with prizes awarded for each game. Snacks and drinks will be available for a donation.
Visitors’ Center
The Carmine Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center at the restored Train Depot and Museum is open on the second Friday and Saturday of the month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
