Animal Shelter Update

The Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for all normal operations.

The adoption fee for any dog or cat is $80 and includes: spay or neuter when age/appropriate, age-appropriate vaccines while in our care, rabies vaccine, and a microchip: a $250 - $300 value.

As of Jan. 30, the total 2026 intake is 98: 60 dogs and 38 cats in need. There are 93 animals in care: 61 dogs and 32 cats. Visit www.janssenanimalshelter. org to see all animals available for adoption.
