Ag Safety Day Held at the Fairgrounds in La Grange

Fifth graders from schools all across Fayette County converged on the fairgrounds in La Grange last Friday for the annual Ag Safety Day. The student rotated around through several stations learning about things like (from left to right) electrical safety from Fayette Electric Workers showing a kite sparking after coming into contact with an electric line simulator, health safety from EMS staffers, equine safety, and local wildlife regulations from game wardens (here with a stuffed bald eagle that was found dead in Fayette County), and lots more.
