86th Annual Tomato Festival Announced

Save the date for the 86th Tomato Festival will be held Friday, May 26-Sunday, May 28. More details to come.

Come play bingo at the chamber hall on Saturday, April 15. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Physical address is 104 W. Colorado Sky in Ellinger.

Shared Lutheran Ministry Holy week: Good Friday services in Ellinger at 2 p.m. Easter services (April 9) will be at all churches, normal time. Ellinger’s normal time is 8 a.m. All are welcome.

Ellinger will host a joint worship on Sunday, April 16 at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Face book page.

La Grange ISD

No classes will be held on Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10.

Ellinger VFD

The Department has started selling raffle tickets, $20 each and only 1,200 tickets sold. The fundraiser is on April 30 (Note: corrected date) at the chamber hall and the drawing will be that day, presence not necessary to win. 21 prizes are on the ticket and all proceeds will go towards the purchase of the new equipment.
