800 Old U.S. Flags Retired

Last week local veterans respectfully disposed of about 800 American flags that were torn and tattered. Above were the veterans who helped with the event, left to right: John D. Marburger, Glenn Altwein, Bobby Connelly, Joe Kruppa, Ray Thurman, Bobby Bedient, James Bramblett, Lance Nickel, Richard Gray.

To the right is the burning process the veterans used to dispose of the flags appropriately.
