4-H Places at Houston Livestock Judging Contest

Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Houston Livestock Show Judging Contest on Monday, March 11.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team Maroon was the Reserve Champion Junior Team. Team members consisted of Tatum Fritsch, Abraham McBride, Kaisley Janecka, and Kullen Kutac. Individually, Tatum was 10th and won a Scramble Certificate to purchase an animal to exhibit at the 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team Green placed 13th overall. Team members consisted of Sawyer Mau, Tate Fritsch, Adalyn Carrales, and Addison Berckenhoff.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team White placed 15th overall. Team members consisted of Holden Holub, Laramie Laake, Alexis Berckenhoff, and Julia Melton.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team Blue placed 26th overall. Team members consisted of Paige Carruthers, Dylan Zweschper, Kinley Kutac, and Rilan Karisch.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team Yellow placed 49th overall. Team members consisted of Emma Zweschper, Abigale McBride, Joe Carrales, and Hudson Holub.
Judging as an individual in the Junior Division was Avah Noriega and Meredith Carruthers.
There were 90 Junior 4-H Teams and 382 individual Junior 4-H competitors.
The Fayette County 4-H Senior Green Team placed 20th overall. Team members consisted of Railey Nieto, Cooper Mau, Peyton Gilchrest, and Tori Newton.
The Fayette County 4-H Senior White Team placed 40th overall. Team members consisted of Harper Mau, Kaylee Hensley, Rheagan Karisch, and Brealey Nieto.
Judging as an individual was Logan Poncik.
There were 186 Senior 4-H Teams and 717 individual Senior 4-H competitors.
The Livestock Judging Team is coached by JoJo and Kaci Carrales.
