25th Annual Quilt Show Opens

The KC Hall in La Grange was a flurry of activity Wednesday afternoon as volunteers with the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild were setting up for the 25th annual Best Little Quilt Show in Texas (as shown in the photos above and below).

The show runs Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $10.

Show Chairwoman Linda Polk said she expects about 180 quilts in the show. Last year’s event drew 600-700 people Polk said, even with icy weather, so she expected an even bigger crowd this year. Besides the quilts, numerous quilting-related vendors will also be at the hall.
