Unleashed Dogs a Problem in La Grange

To the Editor: My letter is in support of the article written by Teresa Brown, Exectuive Director of the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter, in the Friday, July 25 edition of The Fayette County Record.

Social Security

To the Editor: I want to start this letter to the Editor by asking those of you on social security if your social security has been stopped or diminished during these past six months? I would wager not. Many Democrats have told us countless times that when Donald Trump became the President, we would lose social security.

My own granddaughter is nine. Just a month ago I was thinking how nice it would be if she could come to summer camp on the Guadalupe River.

Gratitude and Peace

To the Editor: As I sit here reflecting on my 41 amazing years of service at Sacred Heart School, I am filled with gratitude and peace. I have built 4 decades of indescribable memories with incredible students, families, fellow teachers, administrators, priests and support staff that keep this school running oh so well.

Rural Texans Deserve Fair Representation, Not Political Games

To the Editor: Most of us believe voters pick our leaders – politicians do not pick which voters to heed and which to silence. I strongly oppose the Governor’s inclusion of congressional redistricting legislation in the Special Session of the 89th Texas Legislature.
