Vote For Freedom

To the editor:

As I see the Democratic candidate signs popping up around the county, I can’t help but wonder have the people displaying their support for Harris-Walz or Allred considered their political records? Do they know who these people are and what they stand for? They talk about freedom but are doing all they can to destroy Americanism and democracy. They say one thing and do the exact opposite of what they say.

Was there joy in the anti-democratic attempt of removing Biden and promoting Harris? Was there joy in the anti-democratic attempt to remove their opponent from the ballot in 16 states? The fascination with a Harris-Walz administration is the result of misguided animosity toward Trump. You don’t have to like Trump to realize the country was better off during his previous administration than in the past 3 ½ years of the Biden-Harris administration.

As I listen to Harris “flip flop” on so many issues, who can know what she will do if elected president? A review of Harris’s record by a National Review author is very revealing. “When I say Harris is an authoritarian, I am saying she is a fan of obedience to authority, especially of Democratic- run government, at the expense of personal freedom in ways that are deeply un-American. That’s a bad trend in politics, in general, but it’s difficult to think of many politicians more wedded to the idea than Kamala Harris.” To quote a recent statement from the Daily Signal, “Suddenly, Kamala Harris is supposed to be someone else. She’s supposed to go from wallflower to firebrand—and convince Americans that she should be in charge after she spent three years being barely visible.”

Ms. Harris is directly responsible for the invasion of our country by violating immigration law with an open border policy and allowing illegal migrants access to financial and healthcare that belongs to our veterans and citizens.

“Even CNN is conceding that Harris is now a hypocrite for using Trump’s border wall in her new political ad to claim she supports controlling illegal immigration. CNN found more than 50 instances since 2017 of Harris slamming Trump’s border wall, with labels like “useless” and “racist.” But now Harris is running ads touting Trump’s wall.”

The Biden-Harris Administration was directly responsible for the “botched” Afghanistan withdrawal, but she has said nothing except “the chaotic withdrawal decision was “courageous and right.” Rep. McCaul has released a 300+ page report documenting his investigation which revealed “the administration had information and opportunity to take necessary steps to plan for the inevitable collapse of the Afghan government, so we could safely evacuate U.S. personnel, American citizens, legal permanent residents, and our braveAfghan allies.At each step of the way, however, the administration picked optics over security.” Do we want her as Commander in Chief of the U.S. Army and Navy?

Harris claims to be “a champion for women” but according to a senior policy analyst at Independent Women’s Voice, Carrie Sheffield, “many facts tell a different story.” Harris endorsed the new Biden-Harris Administration rule “expanding Title IX protections to gender identity and sexual orientation, requiring schools receiving federal funds to allow males into female spaces such as restrooms and locker rooms, or into any activity currently separated as male or female.”

With respect to abortions, “Harris can’t name a single limit on abortion that she would support, and supports a bill that would legalize elective abortion through all nine months and repeal every existing pro-life law in the states.” Babies can and do survive abortion. “Walz signed legislation allowing elective abortion at any stage of pregnancy in Minnesota and gutted the state’s born-alive protections.”

A recent headline from Texas Scorecard reports “Police Confirm Violent Venezuelan Gang Infiltrated North Dallas.”

A video that first circulated in 2023 has resurfaced, “the Dallas Police Department confirmed to The Daily Mail that Tren De Aragua has settled in North Texas and is committing heinous crimes.” There have been reports of this gang in New York, Miami, El Paso, and Chicago (“where members have been linked to narcotics and weapons charges.” ) The article states “This is Kamala’s America.” She was appointed “border czar.”

Has anyone asked Kamala or Walz how they plan to deal with these illegals to protect the citizens of the neighborhoods being “riddled with illegal street racing, beatings, shootings, and extortion attempts”?

Kamala previously promoted the Defund the Police movement and now talks about freedom.

Where is the freedom when neighborhoods are overrun by illegals and are “riddled with illegal street racing, beatings, shootings, and extortion attempts?”

Where is the freedom in mandating electric cars and appliances?

Where is the freedom in subsidizing “green energy” that is not reliable or renewable?

Where is the freedom in an administration that borrows trillions sparking hyperinflation?

Where is the freedom in intimidating corporations to show how “pro-equality they are?

Where is the freedom when organizations like Human Right Campaign are allowed to act like the mafia or Al Capone promising protection for businesses from the Left’s activist investors in exchange for a generous cut of the company’s profits?

Where is the freedom in censorship of free speech—the bedrock of American freedom? “According to Harris, by refusing to accept government censorship of free speech, Musk has lost his “privilege” to operate a social media company, which “must be taken down.”

According to Campaign for Liberty, “Right now, both of the two biggest free speech platforms used by Americans – X (formerly Twitter) and Telegram – are under real threat.”

A commentary in the Sept. 13, 2024, Wall Street Journal, page A14 lists a summary of activities of five of “the most lawless agencies” of the Biden-Harris administration. Thankfully they have faced legal defeats but that hasn’t stopped them. And if Harris-Walz are elected we can expect more lawlessness.

Regarding the presidential debate, “it was clear the event was nothing more than a coordinated effort to prop up the Democratic ticket.” Many media critics were quick to praise Harris but never fact checked her.

The future of the country is at stake. The truth is neither Harris or Walz demonstrate appreciation for the rule of law, America’s history or the U.S. Constitution.

To quote a respected historian from the Hoover Institute, “Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are the most brazen and extreme examples of leftwing flip-floppers in memory.” “The Harris-Walz message is clear: “In order to run your country for the next four years, we must lie and deceive you” until the election.

Many don’t like Trump but recognize they were better off under his presidency. The election is not about personalities. Freedom matters. The Democratic ballot promotes a leftist administrative state—not freedom, and not Constitutional order.

Vote for freedom. Vote Republican all the way down the ballot including judicial candidates.
