Vote the Bible

To the Editor:

My personal compliments and support for the Record providing space for the lengthy comparison of Conservative verses Liberal political views featured in the February 9th issue. Newspapers in large cities would have shortened the editorial or have refused to print. God’s Word leaves little room for dispute. After all, God had the first Word and He will have the final Word, no matter what mankind may say.

Considering the election is just months away, the article (if read with an open mind) provides spiritual guidelines for choosing the right candidates in the voting booth. Our vote should be directed to persons that actually will do what’s promised...a candidate that is serious about making America great economically, financially, politically and most of all spiritually. One who not only believes, “In God We Trust,” but leads and governs accordingly.

Party affiliation should make no difference, as long as they distance themselves from the swamp-dwelling creatures inhabiting Washington and many state officeholders around the country. It’s time for we the people who are called by His Name to stand up and make our voice and wishes heard. There needs to be a landslide turnout of voters that believe righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). They need to demand they make America Great again.

The voting booth needs to be a sacred place where God’s Word prevails. Every name on the ballot needs to be evaluated based on what they say in word and in action compared to God’s Holy Word.

Simply stated: VOTE THE BIBLE…
