Vote On Actions, Not Words
To the editor:
Our democratic republic gives us the freedom to vote regularly for the candidate of our choice. The Republican Party Platform has long called for voter ID to make sure elections are more secure. Of course, these days anyone (citizen or illegal immigrant) can obtain an ID of some sort. Obviously and ideally , the ID should include some proof of citizenship.
The Democratic Platform, on the other hand, is against any type of voter ID. Can one speculate why? As I think about it, I notice Democrats keep winning in urban cities where the city is falling apart year after year for decades… Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, to name only a few. Are people this dumb or is there something going on that somehow swells the voter numbers in one party’s favor.
It’s hard for me to believe the people living in these cities are casting their vote for candidates who will do more of the same, regardless of what they promise. When will people wake up and vote based on the ACTIONS of the candidate – not WORDS. I have a hard time believing people can be that stupid year after year. If they aren’t, then how do Democrats with their horrible policies and even worse results keep winning? Continuous speculation leads people to obvious and dangerous conclusions.
Just wondering and asking…
