Twisted Information

To the editor:

Do not be “hoodwinked” by Ms. Rodibaugh’s alternative facts. It is difficult to read lies and twisted information in our paper.

1. David Daleigh, a rightwing anti-abortionist, made a video of a lab falsely showing a lab technician removing tissue from a baby. He was trying to promote the idea that Planned Parenthood was selling tissue for profit. He took, without permission of the mother, a pic of a still born baby that had been put on the internet to be honored by the grieving mother. This deception was investigated and the video was proven to be incorrect.

2. The conservative groups as were left leaning groups were being investigated for illegal donations to political candidates.

3. As a former prosecutor, Kamala Harris used her skills to question the nominees for the Supreme Court. Turns out, these conservative choices misrepresented what they swore they would and would not do if voted to be on the court, misleading both Republicans and Democrats.

4. Of course, Harris supports an organization like Planned Parenthood because they support all women, underprivileged or not, who want to make decisions about their own bodies.

5. I was shocked by this one. Does anyone think it is illegal for a citizen of the United States to give water to a thirsty human being, immigrant or not?

6. Last paragraph: if you buy that Harris’s campaign said that she is misrepresenting Project 2025, I have some “ocean front property in Arizona “ for sale! If you’ll buy that, “ I’ll throw in the Golden Gate for free.”
